bandz is a music scene discovery guide for your city. It works as a catalog of live events, artists, and venues, helping you find shows that match your music taste. bandz does not sell tickets or organize events -- we are a music scene radar.

You can create an account using Apple, Google, Facebook, Spotify, or phone. You can also browse anonymously with limited features. Just download the app and pick your preferred login method.

After creating your account, select your favorite music genres, follow artists and venues you enjoy. The more preferences you set, the better your event recommendations will be.

We recommend enabling location to receive nearby event suggestions. bandz only uses approximate location (city or region) and only when you allow it.

The home feed works similarly to streaming platforms. You'll see sections like 'Events near you', 'Based on what you like', 'Events from artists you follow', and 'For rock lovers'. Suggestions are based on music taste, proximity, and followed artists.

Use the search bar to find events by artist name, venue, music genre, or neighborhood. You can also filter by date, proximity, and genre.

The event page shows the artist image, description, time, address, social links, and navigation links (Google Maps, Waze). It also displays upcoming events from the venue and artist.

bandz generates visual cards ready for social media (Instagram, WhatsApp). Links use deep linking -- recipients open directly to the event inside the app.

On any artist or venue page, tap the 'Follow' button. You'll receive notifications when they publish new events.

You can get alerts for new events from followed artists, upcoming show reminders, and news from favorite venues. All notifications are relevant to your taste.

Go to app settings to choose which notification types you want. You can disable specific categories without losing others.

It's not required, but we recommend it. By connecting your streaming account, bandz analyzes the artists and genres you listen to and automatically matches them with platform events. This makes recommendations much more accurate.

In app settings, go to 'Integrations' and select Spotify or Apple Music. You'll be redirected to authorize the connection. bandz only accesses artist and genre information -- we never modify your playlists.

Yes! During onboarding or in settings, you can select music genres and follow artists manually. Recommendations improve over time as you interact with the platform.

bandz learns from your favorite genres, followed artists, viewed events, and location. The more you use it, the more personalized your suggestions become.

Yes, always. Artists will have free access to the platform, now and in the future. This is a core principle of bandz -- supporting the music scene.

Contact us or, when available, create your profile directly in the app. Complete it with genres, description, social media, and Spotify link to maximize your visibility.

Your events appear in the feed of users who enjoy your genre and your followers. The more complete your profile and the more events listed, the greater your visibility on the platform.

Keep your profile complete and updated. In the future, bandz will have a marketplace where venues can search for artists by style, availability, and rating.

Once your profile is active, you can create events directly on the platform. Each event appears in the feed of users with compatible music taste.

Currently all features are free. In the future, we may offer premium features like advanced analytics, Instagram templates, and app highlights, but event creation will always be free.

Yes. Artists, venues, and organizers can request correction, update, or removal of their profile at any time by emailing legal@bandz.app. We respond within 5 business days.

Go to app settings and edit your personal information, favorite genres, and followed artists at any time.

You can request account deletion through the app or by emailing privacy@bandz.app. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy timelines.

No. bandz does not sell personal data and never will. We use your data only to operate the platform and personalize your experience. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Users between 16 and 18 should use the service with their legal guardian's awareness. Use by anyone under 13 is prohibited.

Check your internet connection and try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, check for available updates on the App Store or Google Play.

Check if notifications are enabled in your device settings (Settings > Notifications > bandz). Also confirm notifications are enabled within the app.

Make sure you have the Spotify or Apple Music app installed and that you're logged in. Try disconnecting and reconnecting in bandz settings. If it persists, contact us.

Check if bandz has location permission in your device settings. bandz needs 'While Using the App' permission to recommend nearby events.

Try using a different authentication method (Apple, Google, Facebook, Spotify, or phone). If you already had an account with another method, contact support@bandz.app to merge your access.
